24/Mar/2016

Officers of the occupying SL Army and Navy were operating behind in arranging Sinhala Buddhist extremist Bodu Bala Sena (Buddhist Power Force) to visit Kokku'laay in Mullaiththeevu district (Tamil Speakers Land), informed sources in Mullaiththeevu told TamilNet on Wednesday. Ven Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, the general secretary of the BBS was in Kokku'laay on Monday encouraging the extremist monk Sri Thissapura Gunarathna Thero for his occupation scheme, which is being projected through the construction of a Buddhist Vihara establishment in the lands illegally seized from (Tamil Speakers Land)  at the strategic point linking North and East. In the meantime, the SL government in Colombo, through its Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, has issued hundreds of fishing permits to Sinhala fishermen occupying Kokku'laay (Tamil Speakers Land). More than 1,000 Sinhala fishermen have arrived at the area with the permits recently issued by the SL Ministry in Colombo.

The SL government in Colombo, which was at odds with Gnanasara, is deploying him to sustain and step up the occupation of Kokku'laay (Tamil Speakers Land).

The visit by controversial Gnanasara Thero takes place at a time councillors of the Northern Provincial Council were highly concerned of the demographic genocide targeting Kokku'laay and the territorial contiguity of the Tamil homeland.

The occupying navy of genocidal Sri Lanka was also working with the BBS at Champoor in a campaign to sustain the occupation last year.

The BBS is also active along the borders of Batticaloa towards Polonnaruwa and Ampaa'rai in occupying the lands of (Tamil Speakers Land) .
